RESUMEN
La Tortolita chusquera (Paraclaravis mondetoura) habita en los bosques de niebla, especialmente en donde es abundante el bambú o chusque. Es considerada como una especie muy rara y poco conocida en Colombia. Desde hace más de un siglo no se tenían registros de esta especie en Norte de Santander. Esta especie es considerada como nómada, ya que solo aparece cuando hay episodios de fructificación de los chusques, que ocurren en intervalos largos y poco predecibles (lo cual podría explicar la escasez de los registros en general). Se presentan tres nuevos registros de P. mondetoura en cercanías al municipio de Pamplona (Norte de Santander) asociados a la fructificación del chusque que se encuentra en la zona y posiblemente a un evento de reproducción. Sin embargo, al nivel regional aún se conoce poco sobre los movimientos y biología reproductiva de esta especie.

ABSTRACT
The Maroon-chested Ground-Dove (Paraclaravis mondetoura) lives in cloud forests, especially where bamboo plants are abundant. It is considered a very rare species and little known in Colombia. This species is considered nomadic, since it appears when there are bamboo fruiting episodes, which occur only at long and unpredictable intervals (which could explain the scarcity of records in general). For more than a century there were no records of this species in Norte de Santander. We present three new records of P. mondetoura in the vicinity of the municipality of Pamplona (Norte de Santander) associated with the fructification of bamboo found in the area, which supports the presence of the species in the department. However, the regional level little is still known regarding the movements and reproductive biology of this species.
